What to Expect
We value each dog's unique characteristics and understand that a one-size-fits-all approach to enrichment daycare is not what's best for every dog. Enrichment Daycare at Walks and Wags, Inc. is designed to provide an enhanced level of hands-on care during a daily schedule of physically and mentally stimulating activities.
Dogs benefit from playing in smaller groups with shorter play times alternated with yummy snacks, puzzle time, and rest time throughout each day.
We play games that reward patience and focus, including fun agility courses, scent-tracking games that allow dogs to sniff out treasures, brain game puzzles, bubbles, giant balls, and more!

Our team here at Walks and Wags, Inc., along with other dog care experts across the country, have tested this new approach and found that dogs go home tired but not so exhausted, which promotes more meaningful interactions with family members. Our playtime-with-a-purpose is just another way we partner with you in the lifetime care of your furry family member.

New Dog Evaluation Day
On Mondays, we intentionally keep our group sizes small to ensure we can dedicate ample time to getting acquainted with your dog, and vice versa. Your dog will spend the day with us, moving at their own pace, allowing us to build trust and rapport naturally. At Walks and Wags, we prioritize your dog's comfort and well-being, never forcing them into situations that may cause stress or anxiety.
Should we notice signs of distress or fear in your dog at any point during the evaluation, we'll promptly contact you to arrange for an early pickup. In such cases, we may also offer suggestions for additional training or recommend consulting with a behaviorist to address any concerns.
It's important to note that all dogs must exhibit non-aggressive behavior towards both other dogs and humans during the evaluation process.
As part of our commitment to providing a comprehensive evaluation experience, if your dog is comfortable, they will also receive a soothing bath and nail trim before heading home.
Please be advised that there is a $60 charge for New Dog Evaluation Day, which includes the assessment, enrichment activities, and, if applicable, grooming services.
