Are you certified or insured?
Yes! Walks and Wags is Alabama’s first PACCC-certified facility. All staff are trained, and our facility and transport services are fully insured.
Do you offer long-term boarding options?
Absolutely. We specialize in long-term and enrichment-based dog boarding training that includes structured play, rest, and constant supervision.

What vaccinations are required?
All dogs must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella. Flea and tick prevention is also required for all services.
Puppy Training and Development


We recommend starting socialization and basic training as early as 8 weeks old. Our Puppy K program is designed to support early-stage development.
While consistency can lead to big progress in a week, most puppies need a few weeks to fully learn. Our Puppy K program provides structure and support to speed up the process.
Use a consistent bedtime, limit water an hour before, and make the crate a cozy space. We offer take-home strategies during our puppy training sessions.
We offer a developmental framework in Puppy K that aligns with your dog’s age and behavior needs. Ask us for a personalized plan!
Yes. Our trainers use positive reinforcement to support training your dog not to bite and redirect play aggression safely and effectively.
Adult Dog Behavior and Training Support


Yes, it’s absolutely possible! We use a mix of crate training, scheduling, and reward-based systems. Ask about our customized adult dog programs.
Older dogs may take more time to adjust, but the process is similar to puppies: gradual exposure, comfort, and consistency. We’ll coach you through it.
We’ll help you build a structured potty routine and identify any patterns or triggers that may be getting in the way of progress.
