From our climate-controlled indoor dog daycare spaces to our outdoor yards or even our indoor swimming pool, your dog is never left alone and never overlooked. Our staff knows what to look for—and how to respond—with behavior-first awareness and ongoing communication you can count on.
New Dog Evaluation Day
sTEP 1.
On Mondays, we intentionally keep our group sizes small to ensure we can dedicate ample time to getting acquainted with your dog, and vice versa. Your dog will spend the day with us, moving at their own pace, allowing us to build trust and rapport naturally. At Walks and Wags, we prioritize your dog’s comfort and well-being, never forcing them into situations that may cause stress or anxiety.
sTEP 2.
At lunchtime, one of our head trainers will communicate with you how your dog is doing. Should your dog exhibit distress or fear during our evaluation, we will arrange for early pickup. It’s important to note that all dogs must exhibit non-aggressive behavior towards both other dogs and humans during the evaluation process.
sTEP 3.
As part of our commitment to providing a comprehensive evaluation experience, if your dog is comfortable, they will also receive a soothing bath and nail trim before heading home. Please be advised that there is a $60 charge for New Dog Evaluation Day, which includes the assessment, a report card with transparent honesty, enrichment activities, and, if applicable, grooming services.

All daycare services require a monthly membership, with tuition auto-drafted from your card on file on the 1st of each month. Your dog is scheduled for care in advance, ensuring they stay with a consistent group and benefit from routine, stability, and tailored enrichment. Daily rates are based on visit frequency, and a Swim Membership can be added to include guided pool sessions during daycare.
