What to Expect
We value each dog's unique characteristics and understand that a one-size-fits-all approach to Daycare is not what’s best for every pet. Daycare at Walks and Wags is designed to provide an enhanced level of hands-on care during a daily schedule of physically and mentally stimulating activities.
Dogs benefit from playing in smaller groups with shorter playtimes alternated with yummy snacks, puzzle time, and rest time throughout each day.
We play games that reward patience and focus, including fun agility courses, scent tracking games that allow dogs to sniff out treasures, brain game puzzles, bubbles, giant balls, and more!

Evaluation Day
Call us at (251) 643-1615 or complete our new customer registration form to set up an appointment for your dog’s fun-filled Evaluation Day at Walks and Wags!
After our admissions department has reviewed all of your dog's information, our Doggie Admissions Coordinator will contact you to schedule a New Dog Evaluation day. This day is usually on a Monday and we call this day NEW DOG MONDAY. On Mondays, we have a smaller group of dogs so that we can spend the day getting to know your dog and your dog can get to know us. Your dog spends the day with us, moves at their pace, and lets us know when they are ready to play or not. Your dog is not forced into an environment that they are not comfortable with. If at any time we feel your dog is over stressed or too fearful, we will call and ask to have your dog picked up early and possibly suggest some training or a behaviorist to work with your dog. All dogs must be non-aggressive towards other dogs and humans. There is a $60 charge for New Dog Evaluation Day.
